Series Editor

The Series Editor is responsible for the overall intellectual direction and long-term development of the Pollution and Diseases Book Series. This role includes defining thematic priorities, approving new volume proposals, safeguarding academic integrity, and ensuring that each publication meets the scholarly and ethical standards of the series.

The Series Editor makes final decisions regarding acceptance of manuscripts, oversees the peer review process at a strategic level, and ensures consistency between individual volumes and the broader mission of the series.

Co-Editor

The Co-Editor supports the Series Editor in coordinating editorial processes and maintaining operational continuity. This role includes supervising peer review workflows, assisting in communication with volume editors and contributors, and ensuring the smooth progression of manuscripts from submission to publication.

The Co-Editor also contributes to strategic planning and helps preserve institutional stability and long-term sustainability of the series.

Thematic Editors

Thematic Editors are appointed for specific volumes or annual thematic collections within the Book Series. They are responsible for developing the conceptual framework of individual volumes, inviting contributors, coordinating the peer review process for submitted chapters, and ensuring thematic coherence and scholarly quality.

Thematic Editors play a central role in shaping the intellectual identity of each volume while operating within the broader standards and policies established by the Series Editor.

International Advisory Board

The International Advisory Board provides strategic guidance and supports the international visibility and academic credibility of the Book Series. Members of the Advisory Board contribute expertise from diverse disciplinary and regional backgrounds and help ensure that the series maintains high scholarly standards and global relevance.

The Advisory Board may advise on thematic directions, recommend reviewers, and support the long-term development of the series as a durable scholarly initiative.
