The Book Series complements the mission of the journal Pollution & Diseases but does not constitute a serial journal publication. The series is structurally distinct from the journal’s ISSN (3029-9039). Each volume is assigned an individual ISBN in accordance with international publishing standards.
Where applicable, DOI registration and metadata management are centrally coordinated by the publisher to ensure consistency and citation integrity.
The Version of Record for journal articles is maintained exclusively on the Journal Platform.
– Chapters that are derived from previously published journal discussion materials are published as curated versions and are explicitly linked to the original Version of Record DOI.
– Crossref metadata include formal relationships between the original journal record and the book chapter record to ensure citation continuity and prevent duplicate-publication ambiguity.
